Founded in February of 2004, MACHOA was created to manage officiating for the Atlantic Coast College Hockey League (ACCHL), Blue Ridge Hockey Conference (BRHC), as well as additional independent college ice hockey teams in Virginia, DC, and the Carolinas.

Our primary focus has been to improve the quality of officiating and referee training, as well as the level of college ice hockey in the region, and we hope you will view our mission and goals pages.

Designed to support MACHOA in its administrative, informational, and promotional initiatives, this website is nevertheless still in a developmental stage. New functionality will be added in stages, including interactive databases, membership services, and referee support. So keep checking back, and be sure to contact us about your special needs.

News and Notes for the 2008-2009 Season!

The newly formed BRHC Colonial Division is comprised of seven of the top fifteen nationally ranked teams in the ACHA South Division. These teams play tougher schedules and are held to a higher standard than that of other BRHC members.

MACHOA is expanding to cover BRHC games as far north as Delaware and as far south as South Carolina. Read more...
